Unwinding is a one-day nature retreat for women who feel overstimulated, overextended, and longing for rest.
Many women live with constant mental and emotional stimulation — from work, family life, relationships, or hormonal changes. This retreat is for those who rarely take conscious time for themselves and who crave more softness, spaciousness, and calm.
During this day, we gently explore what overstimulation means for you. We invite you to step out of your head and reconnect with your body, learning to recognize the subtle signals of your nervous system. Through stillness, nature, breath, and mindful presence, we create space to slow down, soften, and truly feel.
Silent walks in nature, breathing practices, meditation, and gentle, body-oriented awareness help release tension and invite deep rest. This is a day to unload, to exhale, and to rediscover what your body needs in order to feel safe, calm, and grounded again.
With our backgrounds in nature coaching, garden therapy, grief work, and lived experience, we guide you with warmth and care. We create a safe and loving space where you are welcome exactly as you are — a place to land, to be held by nature, and to reconnect with your inner calm.
Give yourself this gift: learning how to stand in your own inner stillness again.
A sustainable act of self-care — one that stays with you long after the day ends.

09:45 – Arrival & Landing
You arrive at Little Dutch Farm and are welcomed by the quiet rhythm of the land. There is time to settle in, enjoy a cup of tea, and gently transition from “doing” to simply being.
10:00 – Opening Circle & Intention
We begin the day together in a small circle. You are invited to arrive fully, set a personal intention, and tune into what you need most today. We introduce the theme of overstimulation and how nature supports regulation and restoration.
10:30 – Silent Nature Walk
A guided silent walk through the farm and surrounding landscape. Walking without conversation allows your senses to open and your nervous system to settle. You are invited to notice breath, movement, sounds, and the simple presence of being outdoors.
11:30 – Guided Breathing & Rest
A gentle, accessible breathing practice and guided meditation, focused on slowing down and creating inner spaciousness. You’ll be invited to rest, soften, and allow your body to unwind at its own pace.
12:15 – Reflection & Nature Coaching Exercise
A reflective nature-based exercise to explore where tension lives in your life — and what helps you feel safe, calm, and supported. Journaling and quiet contemplation are offered, with optional sharing.
13:00 – Nourishing Farm-to-Table Lunch
We enjoy a seasonal soup and light lunch made with ingredients from the Little Dutch Farm garden. A moment to nourish your body, enjoy simplicity, and connect with others in a relaxed way.
14:00 – Sensory Garden Time
Unstructured time in the garden or orchard. You may sit, wander, observe, or engage gently with nature. This is an invitation to follow your own rhythm and listen to what your body needs.
15:30 – Closing Circle & Gentle Ritual
We close the day with a simple ritual to anchor what you’ve experienced. You’ll reflect on what you’re taking home — not as a task, but as an embodied feeling of calm and clarity you can return to in daily life.

In December 2016, my son Louis was born; three weeks later, he passed away in our arms. His loss brought intense sorrow and a deep grieving process, causing profound trauma to both body and mind. Through spending time in nature, the support of loved ones, and body-oriented therapy, I found space for my emotions and felt my nervous system begin to settle.
What I personally missed was a safe place with like-minded people, where I felt free to share. That is why I now want to support other women who are experiencing loss, so that they too can have a safe space to grieve, feel warmth, and soften. To this day, I consciously care for myself every day and continue to find my own path in this. I am therefore always curious about the wisdom of other women who are walking this journey alongside me.
Retreats will go ahead in all weather conditions except for weather warnings yellow, orange or red. Then the retreat will be cancelled and you will be refunded.
