Autumn Equinox Retreat: Letting Go in Rhythm with Nature

Sunday 21 September, 2025 from 10:00

Little Dutch Farm, Blokdijk 5, 1608HH, Wijdenes

Retreat Theme

As summer fades and the days grow shorter, nature invites us to slow down, reflect, and release. This Autumn Equinox retreat is a gentle, nourishing day to reconnect with the rhythm of the season—and yourself.

Together, we honour the balance between light and dark, and explore what it means to let go of what no longer serves us so we can move into autumn with clarity, presence, and purpose.

Guided by the theme of letting go, we explore what you’re ready to release to make space for rest, clarity, and renewal.
The program includes nature coaching, a wild foraging workshop, a seasonal farm-to-table lunch, and a mindful walk through the land.
We’ll close the day with a simple letting-go ritual around the fire, tapping into the energy of the Autumn Equinox.

Step into the stillness of the season and return home grounded, lighter, and more in tune with nature—and yourself.

Program

09:45 – Arrival & Settling In
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed into the tranquil atmosphere of Little Dutch Farm. Take a moment to settle into the peaceful surroundings, letting go of stress and opening yourself up to the day ahead.

10:00 – Tea Ceremony & Introduction
Gather around the fire with herbal tea foraged from the farm and an introduction to the energy of the equinox. We’ll set our personal intentions for the day and explore the theme of letting go through a grounding breathwork practice.

10:45 – 12:30 – Mindful Nature Exercises & Sharing Circle
Through guided, nature-themed exercises, you’ll deepen your connection with yourself, nature, and what is no longer serving you. A sharing circle provides space for reflection, insights, and new perspectives, helping you gain clarity on your personal journey.

13:00 – 13:30 – Farm-to-Table Lunch
Enjoy a nourishing, farm-to-table lunch that embodies the care and connection we foster here. This mindful break allows you to continue reflecting on the morning’s experiences while savoring seasonal, local food.

13:30 – 14:00 – Mindful Meditation Nature Walk
This gentle movement will help you stay grounded while deepening your awareness of the natural world and your place within it.

14:00 – 15:00 – Foraging workshop – Weeds of wisdom
Learn about edible and medicinal wild plants of autumn and their traditional uses. As we harvest mindfully, we’ll also reflect on the idea of weeds—and what we label as unwanted in ourselves.

15:00 – 16:00 – Letting go ritual around fire and closing
Gather around the fire circle for a symbolic release. You’ll be invited to write down what you’re ready to let go of—habits, fears, old stories—and offer it to the flames in a release ritual.
